Some of the Many Reasons I Love Being Married

Today, Manuel and I celebrated being married for 4 happy months, and throughout the day I was thinking of why I love him, and why I love being married to him. Here are a couple of the reasons:
  • Talking until the early hours of the morning
  • Coming home to his smiling face
  • Working on our little business together
  • Cooking Sunday lunch
  • Random road trips
  • Unconditional love
  • Laughing and joking
  • The best shopping partner ever
  • He is so sexy when he speaks Spanish
  • Taking random naps together
  • Waking up with his arms around me
  • Dependable gym partner
  • The look he gets on his face when we dance together
This is only a fraction of the things I thought about (with a big smile on my face) during the day. These are the reasons that help me get through each day, that make life worth living, that make me look forward to the next 4 months, the next 4 years, the rest of eternity with the love of my life :)

A Bittersweet Week

This week, well known as finals week, is the best and the worst week that I have had for a long time. I'm so grateful for the forecasted thunder storms that are coming, so that I won't be tempted to go outside and play. Here are the finals that I still need to take:

*Theories of Health Behavior Change
*Exercise Physiology
*Exercise Physiology Lab
* Nutrition and the Prevention of Chronic Disease
*Obesity and Weight Management
*Biomechanics
*Allied Health Professions
*Exercise Prescription

Now, I am not complaining at all, in fact, I have loved my classes this semester, but there is just something about the winter semester that just makes me yearn for summer, and as a result, not have too much motivation to even TAKE my finals!!! Please keep track of me this week and next, and make sure that I'm staying on top of everything, and not laying outside in the sun (or even the thunderstorms)!

Our First General Conference as a Married Couple and....

Manuel is working a triple shift! Poor guy! He's working so hard, and his schedule never seems to conform to real life. I guess we should be grateful for a steady income, and we'll just have to read the Conference Ensign together in MAY!
